Who Was Megan?

A Life Rooted in Faith

Megan Carmen Tan was a young woman of quiet courage and radiant faith. From her earliest years, she was drawn to the sacraments of the Church — to the stillness of Adoration, the warmth of community, and the gentle certainty that she was held in God's hands. Those who knew her speak of a soul already old in wisdom, yet full of laughter and tenderness.

She carried her suffering with a grace that humbled everyone around her. In her illness, she did not turn away from God — she turned toward Him, finding in the Cross not a burden but a companionship. Her rosary was never far from her hands. Her smile was never far from her face.

On the Feast of the Annunciation, 3 April 2020, Megan went home to the Lord. She was surrounded by love. She left behind a family transformed by her example, and a community still learning from the way she lived.
